Warm Up with this Blueberry Porridge with Raw Cacao Nibs

It's all about the winter-warming foods these days at PacariUK HQ. We find the rush and race of these colder days is made a little easier when we can make a list of go-to meal ideas in advance, especially for the darker mornings.

This Blueberry Porridge from Kate Tobar Manosalvas (Follow Kate on instagram: @katemtobar) really ticks the box and is quick and 'SUPER simple' too. Best made right before eating, it is VEGAN - GLUTEN FREE - HIGH PROTEIN - HEALTHY and most importantly TASTY! What's not to love?😋

Method:

Kate suggests cooking 1/3 cup of oats with water 💦 Meanwhile, steam 1/2 cup of blueberries in a pan with water and a little bit of maple syrup (or any sweetener that you like). Cook it in a slow heat until it becomes a paste. To add protein to the dish mix 1/2 cup of (plant based)l with 1/2 serving of any protein powder of your choice 💪🏻 In a bowl, place the porridge, the blueberries and the yogurt mix. Lastly, sprinkle some chopped almonds, crunchy peanut butter and some raw cacao nibs* 🍫 on top.
