Chocolate Pancake Recipe

Pancakes have been around for millennia. According to National Geographic, the ancient Romans and Greeks enjoyed a honey-sweetened version and the Elizabethans flavoured their pancakes with spices, rosewater, sherry and apples. There is even evidence that Ötzi, the famous 'iceman' who lived 5300 years ago, enjoyed a pancake as his last meal.

It is thus no surprise that there are many outstanding pancake recipes all over the world, ranging from savoury Scallion Pancakes from China to caramelised Kaiserschmarrn from Austria. We decided to add a new recipe to this list by mixing the great concept of pancakes with our delicious, sustainable and socially responsible chocolate from Ecuador.
